This was my first mower bought for my new home. I loved the ease of the one pull start feature. I love how easy the mower pulled it self across the yard and the cut was level and true. However I have yet to be able to cut my entire yard without this mower clogging up. I heave tried the recycling feature (worst mistake!! ) I tried the side chute which worked a bit better. I do not however want to have to empty and bag every 10 minutes and have piles of grass every where. I have had the worst time cleaning the thing too!! The hose hook up for easy under deck washing is worthless. If the spray nozzle is clogged then water can't come out and clean anything.

I bought this mower in the Autumn of 2012 and used it once or twice. It started beautifully at first, but then when I needed to use it a week or two later it would not start. It has not started since. I drained out all the old gas and put in new, even added stabilizer to the gas, but it simply refuses to start. Cannot return it to the place I bought; they won't take it back or return my money. Very disappointed and infuriated. Might be a great mower if it would work!

I bought this mower in Oct. of 2012 and used it twice before snowfall. Ran it out of gas as directed in the manual.
Fresh gas this spring and it started right up after 3 or 4 pulls. It stopped running as I finished mowing. I figured it ran out of gas.
Second time it won't start. I'm pulling the rope while looking at the decal that says "Guaranteed to Start".
It's sitting outside my garage now to see if the place I bought it from will ever come get it. They seem reluctant.
Hopefully someone will steal it.

My dealer sold me some bottle to use in the fuel to combat the ethanol fuel we buy in St. Louis.
I think the engine performs better on the fuel without the additive.
When I use the additive, it "races" up and down and not a steady running.
Much steadier without the additive.
If you can't make an engine that burns ethanol, then quit.

I purchased a Toro 20370 lawnmower with Kohler engine at Home Depot in July 2012. After using it one time, it would not start. I took it to Home Depot and they repaired it. I tried to start it again and it would not start. The so-called guaranteed to start is just not true.

I love the reliability in starting the mower. One pull and it's going. My only complaint is that it is difficult to steer when operating the self-propelled aspect. It is hard to cut a straight line since the mower tends to have a mind of its own.

Overall I think this is a very good mower. I do not have a large yard, but the self propell feature is worth it. It took me once or twice to get use to it, but then it worked great. The hose connection for washing underneath is also a nice feature.
