I get about 45-60 minutes worth of trim time with the battery fully charged. You need to push the battery on the charger until you hear a "click." That's when you know the battery is properly seated in the charger, or else you may think the battery is charging when in fact it is not.
Performance is top notch especially the edger. My only complaint is that the auto line feeder does not advance the line sometimes. I have to manually do it.

Although the battery life is excellent for my small yard, the tools auto/trigger feed stopped working after a few uses. You can manually press a button to feed more line but doing that every few feet will make you want to run out and but something else.

Does a real good job trimming and with a push of a button, turns into a edger. Lawn looks great after using the edger. No pulling on a cord over and over. Battery life is very good and works well. I really enjoy using this trimmer/edger makes my yard work so much easier.

I don't know if I received a bad battery, but my battery never lasts more than 20 min. even when the trimmer string length is set to the power saver length. Now after 3 months of use, the battery also has a "too hot" issue. The battery lasts 20 min., you have to wait 30 min. for the battery to cool before you can recharge it, and recharging takes over an hour. It is impossible to get the yard done in one day. Also, the string cutter keeps flying off the deck of the trimmer.

The only problem is the battery. It lasts about 20 minutes and needs to be recharged, but has to cool for about 30 minutes first. This means in 3 hours I get about 40 minutes work done... It is powerful, feeds easily, wouldn't trade it for anything.
