Rated 5 out of 5??by Grits Excellent power; throws a lot of snow. Love the sidewalk sweeper blade.
After have a two cycle for years, I love not having to mix the oil and fuel.
Easy starting 4-cycle. Haven't used electric start yet. 2 pulls does it.
The blades are engaged only when you are ready to clear snow.
Can fold bars and chute into a smaller unit for storage.
Fuel cap is on top to easily open, check fuel level, and refuel.

I had a toro paddle snow blower for many years before it gave up the ghost on me. I tried to find the parts for it but they did not make them anymore and I was very reluctant in buying a new one. First of all, the price of a new one was up there and the convienence of mobility on the new ones in weight and snow removal . I was afraid I couldn't find one that could replace my paddle. I researched the the Power Clear 418 ZE and read some good reviews on it and decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed in this purchase, it did everything they said and more. It was a little heavier but it ate up the snow and tossed it farther than I expected, 20 to 30 feet at least. I hope it lasts as long as the paddle and wouldn't hesitate in buying another Toro in the future.

This was first year with my new Toro snow blower. I used it about 6 times. My driveway is about 200' long, 15' wide and I was able to clear it in 30min, with no problems. Not having to mix gas and oil was a big plus.

I have been very disappointed with this product.Engine does not run right. Does not clear down to the pavement.My little toro blower that I had from 2000 until I bought this one was so good in comparison.I'm taking this one to be looked at as soon as it stops snowing but it's been a very big disappointment and I would NEVER recommend it to anyone.

I bought this snow thrower in the middle of winter 2010-2011. A week or two later, we had a blizzard hit our area, with 20+ inches of snow, and very large drifts. After digging my way to the garage, I started my Power Clear, and attempted to clear my driveway. Figuring that the snow was far too deep for a smaller unit like this one, I tried anyway. I was pleasantly surprised by how eagerly and quickly the Power Clear ate through the deep snow, and cleared a path. In less than an hour, I had cleared 80 feet of concrete driveway - two cars wide - and had started on my own and my neighbor's sidewalks.

For a smaller snow blower it really does it's job. It is great on gas. I have never used the electric start because it always starts right up on the first pull.
