Rated 5 out of 5??by Gene27 Great snowthrower for its category
This snowthrower works great for the product category it belongs to. Obviously it wouldn't work well for a 100 ft driveway, but this is not the product category it is meant for. I drive a 4 car driveway, so it works great with my driveway and accompanying sidewalk. My only small complaint is that because of so much vibration, a few of the bolts shake loose and become unscrewed; a little lock-ease or equivalent product applied to the bolts and screws fixed this, though, for a very minimal additional price.

Rated 3 out of 5??by likeclearpavement OK but not great.
We received 18 inches of snow during the month following my purchase so I was able to use my new Toro several times. It started so easily that I didn't even bother with it's electric start feature. It also was powerful. However it was hard to find a chute setting that didn't result in either too much blowing snow or else an overly short throwing distance. With wet snow, the chute clogged constantly. I'm almost sorry that I just didn't spring for the cost of a new blade for my 17 year old Craftsman because it was lighter to maneuver, easier to adjust and didn't completely clog up with wet snow the way the new Toro does.

Rated 5 out of 5??by littlefoot this product is excellent
I have used Toro products for a long time mostly lawn mowers and they did not let me down with the snow blower.

Rated 5 out of 5??by TimTheSnowGuy Great Product - But tough to do wet snow with
The product does a great job clearing snow, and getting it cleared down close to the cement. It also starts really easy. it has electric start, but I have only used the pull start, my wife was also able to pull start this which was good although she was the reason I got one with elevtric start. My only complaint is that we are at the end of our season, and are getting some light snow (1-2 Inches) and the temps are a bit higher out. So the chute plugs with snow which makes it alot harder and longer to clear the snow. That being said, I would still buy this product again. It has cleared alot of snow this year and always did a great job.

It is nice and light and easy to start. I wanted something I could maneuver easily and it fits that use well. The product description said it could remove up to 9 inches of snow though and that is not true. Especially the wet heavy stuff. The crank to turn the blower is placed inconveniently and you have to stop completely and turn it each time you change direction. I wish it was by the handle. So it's about 60/40. It still beats having to shovel a big driveway though:)

Rated 5 out of 5??by BigBen47 First Toro owned
I was very happy the first time I used it because it clean the snow so easy all the way to the drive way turf no more need of shovel. I do not know why I bought another brand before that after a used it I have to shovel to clear some of the snow left by the machine, this time Toro was the brand and I love it is great.

Rated 4 out of 5??by Jayar Easy to start and handle
Starts like a dream-Plug it in, prime, and push the start button...how easy is that. Throws lighter snow half way down the block...4-5 inches doesn't even make it blink...self propelled so there's no pushing...I have 240 ft of sidewalk and a 20' by 30 driveway and it takes slightly longer than 30 minutes...The only quibble if have is leaning over and moving the chute the snow comes out of..it's a little awkward...that'll change with more frequent use...I didn't regret my purchase...why didn't I do it sooner

Rated 4 out of 5??by Rugsideup Very reliable. Quietest piece of equipment I ever owned
Great snow thrower. I wasn't looking for a 4 stroke when I went to buy this, but it was all they had. It starts easily, and being 4 stroke it is the quietest piece of outdoor equipment I have ever owned. It seems to have plenty of power for my use. My only complaint is that there seems to be an excessive amount of snow that blows out from under the back of the machine while doing my driveway. this does not occur on perfectly flat surfaces like my sidewalks, but my driveway is older asphalt and not real flat anymore. I wouldn't even mention this except for my 25 year old Craftsman did not have this problem.
