Smart Speed Control System

The TimeCutter MX 50 in. 23 HP 726cc Kawasaki® V-Twin Hydrostatic Zero-Turn Riding Mower has a 3-blade mowing system under a 4 in. deep, top discharge deck design with convenient washout port. The mower boasts 7 cutting positions between 1-1/2 in. and 4-1/2 in. in height.

With its Smart Speed control system, you'll have precise control and easy maneuvering. It is equipped with an electric PTO and automatic parking brake for ease of operation. And the 18 in. extra-tall contoured seat provides you with a smooth and comfortable ride.

Rated 1 out of 5??by Badger1 Failed after 90 minutes Ran for less than an hour and a half, after which one wheel/transaxle stopped moving in response to the control. $4,000 spent, back to a push mower, would love to return it, wondering how well this was set up (seat was not properly bolted down on arrival). Rated 5 out of 5??by Scott72 Works awesome, can't believe I didn't switch sooner I mow around 2 1/2 acres, it used to take me up to 3 hours, the Timecutter reduced that to maybe an hour and 45 minutes. Incredibly faster on the straight runs, much easier to trim around trees. All this with a 50 inch deck, and before I was using a Toro 520xi with a 60 inch deck. There is a learning curve to using a zero-turn, but the low/high speed switch was great for that. I do wish it had a gas gauge you could see from the drivers seat. Other than that this mower is awesome. March 8, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5??by Theo Great $$$ Value! After using a 48" belly mower for the past 10 years, I decided to step up to the Zero turn experience. I researched 8 major brands of ZT's in my area. Overall, the Toro MX 5060 50" gave me the heavy duty build features in a non pro package I was looking for. A solid warranty, great dealer service and competitive pricing just sealed the deal! The Kawi runs smooth and fast and fuel consumption is good at a gallon per hour of mowing time. The deck is easily adjustable and the ride is relatively smooth. However, after growing up with a steering wheel mower, I'm still breaking in my new skills to smoothly handle the ZT speed\turning lap bar controls. Now for the Best Part..."Superb Lawn Cuts"! The mulching kit I had the dealer install along with the wide tires and high speed 3-blade design makes quick work of the lot, leaving my lawn looking smoothly manicured and healthy! This ZT really makes grass cutting fun again and now, it is a challenge to get er done before my spouse does!! March 3, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5??by grassman2 works great should have just spent the money and bought a mower like this ten years ago. It would have saved me a lot of time, but I just couldn't afford it back then. This mower cuts fast. The deck is not too difficult to drop for changing the belt. There is just one belt on the deck to change, which is nice. It does suck gas though - about an entire tank in under 3 hours. Grease fittings are easy to get to. One thing that I don't like all that well is that when getting close to tree branches, the branches sometimes hook on the throttle switch and turn off the mower. February 24, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5??by FarmerLarry Excellent machine, but I do need more time using it to be a true evaluation... Starts right up. Excellent "sucking up" power. Nice even cut. Be careful on inclines - it is POSSIBLE to tip over going forward uphill. The extra WEIGHTS they give you are EXTREMELY important to install on the front. Felt a little "wheelie" happening even with the weights on it. I lean forward to compensate while going uphill (likely greater than a 15 degree incline). Pretty sure that with the heavy duty transmission and Kawasaki motor that this will be the LAST MOWER THAT I WILL EVER HAVE TO BUY! February 24, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5??by Mike182 A great overall mower It is a good performing mower very easy to operate the only thing I have a problem with is the mulching system sometimes I have to make several passes when I am mowing because it leaves some blades of grass uncut. Maybe their is adjustment I do not know of February 22, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5??by Taigster First time zero turn owner I bought this for an 11,000 sf yard of thick Kentucky Bluegrass. I also use it on 3 acres of field grass. The zero turn is way better than a tractor for maneuverability. It is a comfortable ride. It does a fair job mowing my turf. I bought the mulching system. I have to go slow to get a good mulch job otherwise it leaves clumps of grass. I wish this worked better. The blades need to turn faster to get a better mulch job. It doesn't handle tall field grass very well. It takes multiple slow passes. The three blade mower deck just doesn't allow the tall field grass to stand up. When it does, the field grass stems don't get cut right away. I think the blades turn too slowly. It can be hard to start at times. I prefer a Honda motor over a Kawasaki motor. The engine drinks too much gas for the power output. Is this the only zero-turn motor worth buying? Probably not. I would recommend it, but don't expect miracles. I would be willing to try other brands. February 22, 2013
