Toro's Return Policy

Gas Powered Products 

Toro gas powered walk behind mowers, zero turn mower, and gas powered snowblowers purchased on Torodealer.com are covered under warranty, and as such should be repaired by an Authorized Toro Servicing Dealer, therefore non-returnable*.

*If a mower arrives with damage due to shipping, please call our Torodealer.com support line at 1-866-292-8665 so that we can work with you to resolve the problem.

Please Note:  If a product has had gas in the tank, it MAY NOT be returned at any time and MUST be repaired by an Authorized Toro servicing dealer.  If you ordered a gas powered product and wish to return it, contact your selected dealer.
 

General Return Policy
(All Products other than Gas Powered)
You may return most items sold by Torodealer.com within 30 days of delivery for a full credit.  Items should be in their original product packaging. (You can NOT send back any product that has been fueled, even if it has been drained.)  If, in the unlikely event, you happen to receive a defective or wrong product, we will pay the return freight and replace the product at no cost to you.  If it is not our error, you will receive credit less shipping and must pay for the return shipping.

To return a product, registered owners can log in to their account and click on the “Your Orders” link at the bottom of the page.  Click on the “View Details/Returns” arrow for the order on which you need to make a return. The system will then guide you through the process of generating a return and supply you with a return mailing label you need to print.

You should expect to receive your credit within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper; however, in many cases you will receive a credit more quickly. This time period includes:
  • The transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days)
  • The time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days)
  • The time it takes your bank to process the credit request (5 to 10 business days). 
We will notify you via e-mail of your credit once we have received and processed the returned item.
 
Note: Some product/parts are not returnable, even within the 30 days.  A non-returnable product/part is identified as such in the product description.

Return FAQs 

Are all items returnable?
No, there are a small number of items for which Torodealer.com does not accept returns. They include but are not inclusive of:
  • Hazardous items that are gas-powered or contain flammable liquids. (These items will say “This item can not be returned” on their product detail page.)
  • Manuals/Publications
  • Any product missing the serial number or UPC
How long do I have to return a product? 
If you need to make a return for any reason you must do it within 30 days of receiving the product.

How long will it take for me to receive a credit once I return an item?
You should expect to receive your credit within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper; however, in many cases you will receive a credit more quickly. We administer return credits within 48 to 72 hours after the product is received in our return center.  

May I return items purchased on Torodealer.com to a local retailer? 
In most cases no.  Toro products purchased on Torodealer.com need to be returned to Toro directly via the return process on Torodealer.com.
 
However if you have purchased a gas powered product, such as a gas walk power mower, gas powered snowblower or zero turn mower, these products need to be returned to the dealer you selected on Torodealer.com when you made your purchase.  You can find the dealer you chose on the receipt you received with the product or in the “Your Orders” link at the bottom of the page, then click on the “View Details/Returns” arrow.  Please Note:  If you have used an item or put fuel in it, it may not be returned.

Will I be reimbursed for my return shipping costs?
If, in the unlikely event, you happen to receive a defective or wrong product we will pay the return freight.  The return freight credit is based upon the value of the product.  If the product is $0.01 - $14.99 you will receive a credit of $4.95.  You are free to choose any method you prefer to return the product (USPS, UPS, Fed Ex, DHL, etc.), however the amount you receive for a credit is listed below.
