Easy to use and clean! Self Propel system much better than my old TORO . It bags much better also! The only thing I would change is the pull cord to start, it makes getting the bag off to empty tricks until you get used to it. I still wouldn't own any other mower but a Toro! The last one lasted 22 years!

Rated 4 out of 5??by Jimmy48 lighter than old Toro
I find the new unit to be lighter in weight and by selecting the speed, mowing seems to go by quicker. One more inch wider swath is good 22 inches. The stop and rest feature is something I have always wanted on a Toro and now I have it. Let's me drink water, wipe my brow on real hot days, etc.
So far so good. Like it a lot.

Rated 5 out of 5??by butts45 this product has great features. exactly what i was looking for.
so far, the lawnmower has worked great. it always starts within one or two pulls. the personal pace and spin stop and the connection for garden hose are good features.

Rated 3 out of 5??by Jack49 trouble with the sell-propel drive
At age of 85, I can no longer walk fast and find the self-propel drive too erratic for comfort. I have to block it so it won't go to the fastest speed. Any sugestings would be appreciated.

I bought a toro personal pace with the blade engagement system in 2012 and have had nothing but problems with it. The cable for the blade engagement snapped the second season I had it. I replaced the cable and then the plastic holding the cable snapped. After epoxying the plastic together I went back to mowing. The mower always struggled to cut my grass. The throttle is set by a bracket on the mower, I bent the bracket for more throttle so I could mow my lawn. The mower worked ok a few times and now the blade isn't engaging properly so I have to work on it again. I have spent more time working on this thing than using it.

Very good machine. Very loud. I wish it had a larger fuel tank. I have to fill it at least twice each time I cut my lawn (I have less than have an acre). I have found that when using the bagger, it is difficult to grab the bagger off the machine. I have to drop it to the ground, then pick it up and go around the bars and cables. I like the machine a lot. It performs very well overall!

Rated 1 out of 5??by JR1969 Avoid this mower
I've already had my mower returned for replacement of the self-propel mechanism, after only 4 uses. Had it for less than 60 days. Even at elevated cutting heights, it leaves ruts and lots of piles. The engine is very weak compared to the previous engine that I had on a 10 year old Toro. My neighbor has a current Toro that he's let me borrow to cut very wet grass and which uses the 190cc engine. I've had zero difficulty cutting through grass with it and it leaves little trace of ruts or piles of grass clippings. This is a very disappointing mower, the weak engine being the culprit.

Rated 5 out of 5??by JustMyOpinion Maneuverability and ease of use excellent.
The variable speed and rear-wheel-drive make this mower very easy to manipulate. The blade action cut-off is a great safety feature as well as making the engine more easily started w/o the torque needed to turn the blade.
